Building a “Digital Camera” with CTS module

Many asked if CTS can be used for image capture and streaming so I started a project to build a home-made “digital camera” using a cheap commercial available development board.

I am using a LPCXpresso (LPC1347) board then put together some parts (SD card, LCD, buttons, wires, etc) and of course a CTS board.

Digital Camera, LCD+buttons+SD Digital Camera, LPCxpresso MCU + JTAG Digital Camera, mounted 2 Digital Camera, mounted

Started by writing the code to get OLED LCD, SD card, buttons and UART working and now working on the menu and GUI. I should be able to control the CTS module straight from the board and control the resolution, image format and all image settings.

The final version will be able to capture a frame and store it on the SD card in BMP format.
